OCDA, ENTRACO Affected As Uzodimma dissolves Boards of Government Parastatals, Agencies

The Governor of Imo state, Governor Hope Uzodimma yesterday dissolved boards of government Parastatals, Agencies and extra-Ministrial departments in Imo state.

Agencies like Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Imo State Environmental Transformation Commission (Imo ENTRACO) among others were affected.

In a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Mr. Oguwike Nwachuku and sighted by Allhitzgh.com informed that the dissolution was effective yesterday, March 21, 2024.

DailyPost had reported that “Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved the dissolution of all the Boards of Government Parastatals, Agencies, Extra- ministerial Departments and Commissions in Imo State.

“Also approved is the dissolution of the Development Centre Coordinators in the State.” he informed.

He further stated that the governor has directed the outgoing heads of the affected offices to hand over all government property in their possession.

“The heads of the affected offices in focus are directed to hand over immediately to the most senior persons, including all government property in their possession.

“Governor Uzodimma further thanked them for their contributions in the areas they served the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.”

Uzodimma dissolves Boards of Government Parastatals, Agencies, Commissions, others

Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved the dissolution of all the Boards of Government Parastatals, Agencies, Extra- ministerial Departments and Commissions in Imo State. Also approved is the dissolution of the Development Centre Coordinators in the State.

The dissolution is effective today, March 21, 2024. The heads of the affected offices in focus are directed to hand over immediately to the most senior persons, including all government property in their possession.

Governor Uzodimma further thanked them for their contributions in the areas they served the State and wished them well in their future endeavours.
