Bridgerton Season 3 Storyline

Fans are expecting for a romantic relationship between Colin and Penelope, who will be the focus of the third season. It is thought to be based on Romancing Mister Bridgerton, the fourth book in the series, which was first released in 2002.
“After half a lifetime of watching [Colin] from afar, [Penelope] thinks she knows everything about him, until she stumbles upon his deepest secret,” reads the book’s synopsis written by author Julia. and worries that she doesn’t even know him.”

Penelope was left “heartbroken” in the second season when she heard Colin imply that he wouldn’t pursue her, as Netflix has reminded viewers. It “won’t help her mood either” that the heroine and her best friend Eloise had a falling out.

Nicola made fun of herself earlier this year at Tudum: A Global Fan Event by saying, “We start our season with the ton coming back from the countryside. Pen and Colin have both matured a little. And how their friendship develops is something that only time will tell.”
Additionally, she made a joke on The Six O’Clock Show lately, saying, “This season is really romantic and funny.” Another one not to watch with the whole family, it has a lot of rom-com themes. What you will, you can draw from it.”

In an interview with Elle, Simone, a cast member, hinted to her role, saying, “I think you’re going to see a much more softer side coming this season.” The performer went on, “[Kate is] going to be quite content with her husband.”

Adjoa hinted that there will be a “wider expanse of who the characters are” when speaking with Digital Spy. The actor implied that Lady Danbury, the character she plays, will experience it as well, saying, “A more complex leaning into what their history is.”
